If you though a spyware infection can not get worse, think again! A newly recognized malware program not only makes your computer go all hay wire, it seems, that this malware taunts the victims, while at it.

The malware application is known as "BotVoice.A". It has been classified as a trojan. The malware was first detected by the antispyware and antivirus giant Panda Software SA in a stint last week. Some websites are acting as hosts, while users surf these websites the malware downloads itself in the background and installs itself. There are downloadable copies of this malware too. The real trouble begins as soon as it is installed.

The trojan application poses significant threat and once installed starts deleting almost everything from the victims hard drive, resulting in almost a hundred percent data loss, while deleting, the trojan repeats an audible message endlessly, experts say that this message is designed to taunt its victims.

The message that can be heard is, "You have been infected I repeat you have been infected and your system files have been deleted. Sorry. Have a nice day and bye bye..." and this message keeps repeating. It uses the loop holes in Microsoft operating systems, using a text reader supplied program that is a part of the operating system itself.

Unlike other malware, the trojan is not capable of jumping from one computer to another all by its own, but is rapidly spreading over P2P networks or peer to peer network. It also spreads via the use of removable storage media such as USB drive, cdroms, etc.

Unlike a virus, BotVoice.A does not jump from computer to computer on its own, but spreads via P-to-P (peer-to-peer) networks or storage devices such as CD-ROMs or USB (Universal Serial Bus) memory drives. The malware, not at all commercial, is different and is only designed to vandalise the victims PC without any cause. Operating systems that can be affected by the malware include Windows 2003, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 95 and 98.
